“Move over cronuts and cake pops—it’s time for some classic desserts,” Sur La Table says. “Get hands-on practice with everything from baking a cobbler and whipping crème fraiche to making ice cream and chocolate sauce for the sundae. Add in a tangy-sweet key lime pie and get set for the scrumptious taste of nostalgia.”
SLT’s American Retro Desserts class is $75 per person and will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 14. All participants must be 18 years old or older.
The class menu will include:
— Jen’s Key Lime Pie
— Strawberry Shortcake Cobbler
— Grasshopper Sundae
