New York-based startup Blue Apron, a fresh ingredient and recipe delivery service, is cutting approximately 200 positions at its Arlington fulfillment center as it transfers production to a site in Linden, New Jersey. About 250 positions will remain at the Arlington plant, the company said in a letter to the Texas Workforce Commission. The layoffs will occur in April, the company said.
Blue Apron is a company that puts together various meals each week, and sends the perfect portions of each ingredient to users for their own cooking and learning pleasure.
The company’s Arlington facility is located at 2301 Centennial Dr.
