Celebrate Father’s Day with a little bit of science

Join the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History in celebrating Father’s Day this weekend. The museum will be holding two different workshops in the Maker Studio and the Doodler Studio.

The first workshop is called Maker Studio: Cardboard Automata. According to a news release, the workshop will be held on June 16 and June 17 at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. According to the news release, the workshop will allow children to build moving sculptures that are intended to help children understand motion physics and simple machines. In the news release, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History said that items made during the workshop would also work as Father’s Day gifts. The workshop will be held in the Maker Studio.

The second workshop is called Hands-On Crafts With Dad and takes place on Sunday June 18 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. According to the news release, this workshop allows the entire family to create crafts that they can take home. This workshop will be held in the Doodler Studio.
