Celebrate Independence Day with Fort Worth’s Fourth

Head to Panther Island Pavilion this July 4 for a variety of events celebrating Independence Day. This is the 10th annual celebration of this event and the gates will open at 2 p.m.

According to the Fort Worth’s Fourth website, there will be many events including:

Live Music

Tubing

Festival Food

Flyboard Shows

A Local Band Competition

Fireworks

The Kid Zone is open from 2-8 p.m. and will have pony rides from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. According to the website, in the Kid Zone, there will be activities such as face painting, bounce houses, water slides, tubing and more.

It’s not only the kids who get to go tubing, the tubes and life jackets will be provided for free at this event on a first come first serve basis. Other events will occur sporadically throughout the day, check their schedule to find out what’s happening.

The website listed the many different types of food available to purchase at the event.

According to the website, the largest fireworks show in North Texas will start at 10 p.m. Admission is free for regular tickets, with VIP tickets available for purchase. They will cost either $45 or 60 and include special perks such as VIP parking, VIP restrooms and the VIP bar. Parking at the event will cost either $10 for overflow parking or $20 for preferred parking. Fort Worth’s Fourth website also says that bike parking is free and the Trinity Trails are a great way to access the event.
