Cinemark Holdings Inc. of Plano has formed a chairman’s advisory committee, as conceived by founder and Chairman Lee Roy Mitchell.
The committee is expected to provide feedback to Cinemark’s management team, as well as create a learning environment where the committee can gain valuable business experience.
“Our committee members will represent the best and brightest young leaders in the DFW area and beyond,” Mitchell said in a news release.
“These individuals will have the opportunity work with me and learn how to conduct business in today’s corporate environment in an honest and ethical manner. My vision is that the program will be mutually beneficial to both Cinemark and our committee members,” Mitchell said.
Comprising the committee will be 10 individuals who are not Cinemark employees. Each will serve a two-year term and meet five times annually, working alongside Mitchell and others on the Cinemark management team. Candidates will be selected through a competitive application and interview process. They should be prepared to provide examples of leadership and demonstrate special skills, qualifications and accomplishments they have acquired from school, employment, volunteer work, or through other activities, including hobbies or sports.
Those interested in joining the committee may view qualifications and obtain an official application at www.cinemark.com/cac
