Jeff Carcara has resigned as chief operating officer of Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group Inc., citing a desire to pursue an executive leadership opportunity at a private restaurant company.
A news release neither named that restaurant company nor outlined plans to seek Carcara’s successor. Carcara’s resignation is effective immediately.
“On behalf of the entire management team, I’d like to thank Jeff for his service and contributions over the past two and half years,” said CEO Mark S. Mednansky, commenting in a news release.
“We wish him the best of luck in his new position and future endeavors,” Mednansky said.
Carcara had served as COO since November 2012.
Southlake-based Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group Inc. operates 47 restaurants in 20 states and Washington, D.C., including Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, Sullivan’s Steakhouse and Del Frisco’s Grille.
