Have you always secretly wanted an otter or maybe an alligator? The Fort Worth Zoo is ready to make your dreams come true.
The Fort Worth Zoo has created adoption packages that will allow you to contribute to the care and feeding of an aquatic animal for one year. The news release says that the Wild About Water adoption packages start at $40 and allow you to choose from a clown fish, an American alligator, a sea turtle or a North American river otter.
The $40 adoption package includes a plush animal, a personalized adoption certificate, an animal fact sheet, a Zoo publication, a Big Squirt water toy and a decorative beach bucket. For $75 the zoo’s website says that you can adopt at four animals.
These packages can be ordered online at fortworthzoo.org/wild-about-water-adoption. The adoption packages can be mailed to you or picked up in person at the Fort Worth Zoo’s administration building. Â
