If you or someone you know is expecting a little one in the coming months, you may be interested in attending the Dallas Baby Show, which will be held at the Plano Event Center from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13.
Admission to the show is free for children 12 and under. While all VIP tickets are now sold out, general admission is still available for $15 if purchased in advance and $18 if purchased at the door. A general admission ticket includes “one prize ticket for a chance to win strollers, car seats and more. Prize winner must be present to win and prize drawings will begin at 3:30 p.m.”
As the largest parenting event, the website calls this event the nation’s premier baby show, with the chance to win prizes from baby carriers, car seats, strollers, and more – even a year’s supply of diapers!
This event is organized by Baby Bellies & Beyond and is sponsored, in part, by Huggies, Munchkin and Lillebaby.
The all-day event will feature a Babywearing Demo sponsored by Lillebaby, a baby stroller test-ride sponsored by Contours Baby, a Cloth Diapering 101 Class sponsored by Cotton Babies/bumGenius and the opportunity for those in attendance to meet with local healthcare experts and product experts to help build their baby registry.
In addition to drawings of $20,000 worth of baby product giveaways, there will also be demonstrations on baby gear, infant CPR, car seat safety and more.

The baby show invites expectant parents to talk with brand representatives, see and experience product demonstrations and compare top baby brands including, but not limited to, Munchkin, Contours, Lillebaby, Kiinde, Chicco, LaCroix, Naturepedic, Peg Perego, Ergobaby, Halo Innovations, HaloSleep, Doona, Shea Moisture, Healthy Mama, Lanisoh, Mambaby, Owlet Baby Care, Waterpura, Crane, Enfamil and Kolcraft.
