Fort Worth Chamber names Small Business of the Year finalists

Nine top Tarrant County businesses have been selected as category finalists in competition for the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 Small Business of the Year Award, presented by Bank of Texas.

Category winners will be announced at the Chamber’s 2nd Annual Forte Awards night on January 30, 2020 at the Ashton Depot Catering + Event space in downtown Fort Worth. A “Best of Show” top winner will be announced at Mayor Betsy Price’s Annual State of the City address in 2020.

The prestigious annual Small Business of the Year Awards salute those that operate with exemplary Best Practices. Last year, the awards were revamped for applicants to compete within industry categories vs. number of employees. Finalists were selected by 10 members of the Chamber’s Small Business Council committee, which includes past award recipients. Site visits by judges to the finalists’ business locations in December will determine three category winners.
