lineup for North Texas’ newest music festival taking place this April 29 & 30 in Fort Worth’s internationally

Single-day general admission passes to the fest are $65, while single-day VIP passes are $145 and give

these lucky ticket-holders a premium festival experience. VIP perks include exclusive events, preferred viewing

areas, an official Fortress Festival t-shirt, free parking, expedited entry, exclusive food and drink offerings,

dedicated lounges and restroom facilities, exclusive guided gallery tours at the Modern, discounts on the

merchandise from the Modern, memberships and programs, and additional amenities that will be announced in

the weeks ahead. Additionally, GA weekend passes are still available for $105 as well as VIP weekend

The inaugural Fortress Festival has an incredible music lineup featuring internationally acclaimed headliners

alongside some of today’s hottest up-and-coming music acts, as well as a variety of local artists and boundarytesting

musical pioneers. Saturday’s headliner Run The Jewels will help close out day 1 as the beloved rap

duo performs in support of Run The Jewels 3, the third album installment that was released last December to

rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Grammy-nominated electronic music producer Flying Lotus will be

accompanied by Houndmouth, Wolf Parade, S U R V I V E, and a range of DFW-based acts like Sam Lao,

Burning Hotels, Blue, The Misfit., Cure of Paranoia, and more to round out the sounds of Saturday. One of

today’s hottest indie acts Purity Ring is set to headline Sunday with their renowned live show that blends

infectious vocals, live electronica, and dazzling light displays. Additional captivating sets by several other

acclaimed music acts are also planned for day 2, including Slowdive, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats,

Peter Hook & The Light, Alvvays, Whitney, Dengue Fever, Quaker City Night Hawks, and more.

In partnership with the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, which will serve as an official venue and

promotional partner for the first-year event, Fortress Festival will offer both local residents and music-lovers

from across the country a new two-day celebration of music and culture. Taking place in the highly

respected Cultural District of Fort Worth, the festival will also feature two stages—one on the grounds of

the Will Rogers Memorial Center and another on the reflecting pond at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

In addition to music, festival programming will take advantage of the diverse venues available to create a

cultural experience that will include multiple creative disciplines. Fortress Festival will provide North

Texas with a festival comparable to any other major metropolitan area, while pushing the overall festival

experience into new frontiers for festival attendees of all ages. Stay tuned, as additional festival details will be
