Additional Details: Frost Bank will host a Family Fun Day at its Camp Bowie Financial Center on Saturday, June 1st from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Authors Jennifer Gaines Drez and Robin Beal Bumstead will read from their treasured children’s book, “Goodnight Cowtown” throughout the event. Geared toward children but appropriate for all ages, “Goodnight Cowtown” gives a deeper look inside Fort Worth’s world-renowned historical landmarks, museums, sports teams, and favorite spots. The readings will entertain the youngest guests while the more mature Fort Worth enthusiasts will be charmed by the nostalgia of this Old West wonderland. Books will be available for purchase and signing during the event. Families can enjoy various Cowtown themed children’s activities during Frost’s Family Fun Day including a Balloon Twister and Westland Ranch’s “Paint the Pony” with the gentle-natured pony, Marshmallow. Children can paint Marshmallow who enjoys the pampering and pitter patter from visiting children of all ages. SuperFrog will also be on the scene to interact with the children. Lunch will be provided by Randy May’s Cowboy Chuckwagon Cuisine which specializes in food preparation of the old West. Randy will be serving brisket sliders, hot dogs, ice cream and lemonade from an authentic Chuckwagon. The event is free and open to the public. Frost has been serving Texans since 1868 and the Fort Worth market since 1998. Frost enters a market not only to serve the area’s financial needs, but also to play a part in bettering the community for years to come. Frost strives to make a difference in fun, rewarding and heart-warming ways.
