If you’re looking at the calendar and seeing that back-to-school date rapidly approaching then this event might be for you.
Fort Worth’s New Breed Christian Center is hosting a Back to School Rally from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5.
There will be backpacks full of supplies as well as other giveaways, facepainting, and balloon art.
“Get ready for school with a time of fun, food, fellowship and information,” the website says.
The event is for all school-aged children pre-K to high school and will offer free services including:
-Sports Physical (Must bring your child’s physical form from the school)
-Dental Hygiene information – free toothbrush and toothpaste given out
-Hair cuts – Boy’s basic cut (Hair must be clean for sanitary purposes)
-Nail polishing for girls
-Girls Basic Hair Styling (Hair must be clean for sanitary purposes)
-Lunch will be provided
Parents must register themselves and their children to attend, and must accompany their child at the event. To be given a backpack, the child must be registered.
