Juice It Up plans to open three franchise locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as the raw juice bar and hand-crafted smoothie concept furthers its expansion.
Signing an agreement for the locations was Heath, Texas-based EJBT LLC.
The agreement sees Irvine, Calif.-based Juice It Up have five Texas locations in development with one currently operating in Grand Prairie.
EJBT LLC plans to open the first of its three Dallas-Fort Worth metro locations this fall in Rockwall. Additional DFW locations are being considered in Rowlett and Forney.
“We did our homework and are confident that Juice It Up is the ideal partner as we venture into the booming raw juice and smoothie arena,” said Tracey Taylor, CEO of EJBT LLC in a news release.
“The Dallas area is in need of more healthy, on-the-go dining choices, and we’re eager to introduce Juice It Up and its deliciously good-for-you products to our new guests,” Taylor said.
Juice It Up specializes in fresh-squeezed juices, blended-to-order real fruit and veggie smoothies and nutrient-rich options such as handcrafted Açaí and Pitaya Bowls.
“Everything is bigger in Texas, including Juice It Up franchise opportunities as we pursue aggressive growth in markets throughout the state,” said Carol Skinner, the company’s senior director of marketing.
With sales up 19 percent from 2013, Skinner said the company is outpacing the competition and seeking franchisee partners.
