Plaid for Women started a 45-day fundraising project March 19 on crowdfunding platform Kickstarter to raise $10,000. The funds raised will enable the company to deliver its No Mean Girls message via social media, newsletters and marketing flyers to businesses and organizations as well as billboards, commercials and advertisements in women’s and youth magazines. Additionally, funds will be used to create online curriculum for girls ages 8 to 14 in schools and other organizations.

“We will be having an ongoing digital campaign, and are integrating this messaging into our corporate message. Women around the world have an opportunity at any time to join the campaign and participate in the weekly challenges,” said Sarah Zink, Plain for Women.
