Learn to make Global Flatbreads with Sur La Table

“Aspiring bread bakers, start here. Flatbread is one of the easiest breads you’ll ever make—and the flavor possibilities are endless,” the website reads. “We’ll show you how to mix and roll dough, create sauces and topping combinations, then bake up three internationally inspired flatbreads. The best part? Breaking bread with classmates.”

The Global Flatbreads class will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 17, and is $75 per person.

The menu for the class includes:

— Nan-E Barbari Pizza with Go-To Tomato Sauce

— Garlic Naan with Green Chile

— and Olive Oil Focaccia Two Ways: Apple and Cheddar & Spring Onion and Pecorino

Class recipes are used with permission from The Hot Bread Kitchen Cookbook: Artisanal Baking from Around the World by Jessamyn Waldman Rodriguez and the bakers of Hot Bread Kitchen with Julia Turshen.

Students will receive a coupon for 10 percent off in-store purchases the day of class.
