Legacy of Women honorees announced

SafeHaven of Tarrant County has announced the 2017 honorees for the 25th Annual Legacy of Women Luncheon to be held Friday, Oct. 6th at the Historic Fort Worth Hilton Hotel.

The Legacy of Women Award recognizes remarkable women in Tarrant County for their commitment, achievements, initiative, impact and contributions to the community. The luncheon is a significant fundraiser for SafeHaven, which provides two shelters in Tarrant County specifically for victims of domestic violence.

The 2017 honorees are: Susanne Avondet, Junior League of Fort Worth; Allenna Bangs, Tarrant County Assistant District Attorney; Claudia Beeny, House of Shine; Kim Dignum, Dignum Financial Partners; Sandra Garza, Fort Worth ISD; Jeanne Gerlach, University of Texas Arlington; Mary Hibbs, Junior League of Arlington; Susan Howery, Colleyville Woman’s Club; Dr. Monica Randolph-Graham, Catholic Charities ACT; and Judy Rupay, Arlington Today Magazine.
