Full-service, family hair salon franchise signs agreement for first area salon
New Jersey-based Lemon Tree Family Salons, a full-service, family hair salon franchise with more than 70 locations in six states, is ready to expand to Texas and open their first location in Fort Worth, a news release said.
The salon’s first area location is expected to open in Hurst in the next few months. The new salon will offer a full range of services, from cutting and styling to blowouts straightening, facial waxing,and color treatments among other services. Lemon Tree Family Salons is hoping to open as many as 10 locations in the D-FW area over the next several years, the release said.
According to President and CEO Jonathan Shaw, the expansion will be accomplished exclusively through franchising.

The salon will be open seven days and five nights per week so clients can visit at their convenience. Clients will have the option of scheduling appointments, but Lemon Tree Family Salons also accept walk-ins.
“Everyone gets their hair cut, colored, or styled no matter the economic situation,” Shaw said in the release. “Because of our competitive prices, clients will often visit us because we are more convenient and affordable than other professional salons.”
Including a franchise fee of $35,000, the total initial investment to open a Lemon Tree franchise ranges from $94,600 to $128,400, the release detailed. The franchise fee for a three-pack of salons is $85,000 and the fee for a five-pack is $120,000, with salons typically ranging from 800-1,200 square feet.
