Seth Stevenson is a contributing writer for Slate, an on-line magazine which covers news, arts and culture, politics, and sports. He is also an award-winning travel writer, whose most recent book, Grounded: A Down to Earth Journey Around the World, is about his attempt to circumnavigate the planet without using any aircraft. Stevenson’s work has also appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, New York Magazine, Newsweek, and other publications.
