Macy’s donates to Alliance For Children

Macy’s has gifted $5,000 to Alliance For Children in support of Spanish translation services for families served through the agency, the nonprofit said in a news release.

“This generous donation allows Alliance For Children to better serve adults and children who feel most comfortable communicating in Spanish,” the agency said in the release.

“During a child abuse investigation and beyond, Alliance For Children is thankful to be able to provide Spanish translation as needed to ensure families are receiving needed information and to assist partner agencies to prevent any barriers in communication with families,” the release said.

“We appreciate the generosity of Macy’s and the commitment to child abuse victims and their families receiving access to quality services. With their help, Alliance For Children works to rescue hope, restore trust, and rebuild lives,” Alliance For Children’s Executive Director Julie Evans said.
