Man shot at AT&T Stadium after Cowboys game was trying to break up fight

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) – Police say a man shot outside AT&T Stadium after the Dallas Cowboys’ game Sunday was trying to break up a fight.

Arlington police said Monday the suspect, 28-year-old Marvin Rodriguez, pointed a gun at a man during an earlier fight and then shot a 43-year-old man in the neck as the man tried to break up a later fight in the parking lot.

The man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. His name hasn’t been released.

Police spokesman Christopher Cook declined to comment on a possible motive.
