Former Metro Lead, Bobby Dollak, will transition to the role of principal. Akers, who previously served as director of engineering, brings more than two decades of experience in civil engineering, land development and operational leadership, including a strong background in complex residential, mixed-use and infrastructure projects. In his new role, Akers will oversee McAdams’ operations and strategic growth throughout DFW, with a focus on strengthening client relationships, expanding multidisciplinary service offerings and enhancing McAdams’ footprint across various North Texas independent school districts (ISDs), along with its locally based transportation, water resources and energy capabilities to meet the infrastructure and utility needs of the rapidly growing North Texas region.
