Melinda’s Hot Sauce is presenting a 10K and half marathon along Trinity Trails Sunday, June 25. Following the marathon there will be a jalapeno-eating contest and Rabbit Hole Brewing will be serving free beer. Additionally, all runners will be given a free T-shirt, and everyone who finishes the race receiving a jalapeno medal and a free bottle of Melinda’s Hot Sauce.
The event is from 6-9:30 a.m. and the schedule is as follows:
-6:00 am – Packet Pickup
-7:30 am – Half Marathon
-7:45 a.m. – 10k start
-8:00 a.m. – 5k start
-8:30 am – Post Race Festivities
-9:00 am – 5k awards
-9:30 am – 10k Awards and overall Half winner awards
There will be awards for the top overall male and female and the male and female masters. Additionally, awards will be presented to the top-three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and over.
