Granbury-based craft brewery Revolver Brewing has been acquired by Tenth and Blake Beer Company, the craft and import division of MillerCoors, the companies announced Thursday.

“We are excited to be joining the Tenth and Blake family, which shares our commitment to brewing great craft beer,” said Rhett Keisler, Revolver Brewing co-founder and president. “This partnership will allow us to maintain our brewery and operations in Granbury, while providing us with the additional resources to invest in and accelerate the growth of the Revolver brand in Texas.”

Revolver Brewing will retain its current management, employees and products, acting as a separate business unit of Tenth and Blake, according to a news release.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2016. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

MillerCoors’ Tenth and Blake division’s Revolver Brewing acquisition is a chaser following recent deals to purchase Oregon’s Hop Valley craft brewery on July 29 and Georgia’s Terrapin Beer Company craft brew operations on July 20.

Revolver Brewing is the company behind craft beer Blood & Honey among other brands. The brewery distributes in Fort Worth, Dallas, Austin, Waco and other surrounding areas.

Other companies in Tenth and Blake’s portfolio include Blue Moon Brewing Company, Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company, Crispin Cider Company and Saint Archer Brewing Company. According to a news release, Tenth and Blake expects to close deals with Terrapin Beer Company and Hop Valley Brewing Company.
