Minor injuries reported in crash of Crowley school buses

CROWLEY, Texas (AP) – Officials say about a dozen students were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after one school bus rear-ended another in the town of Crowley.

Crowley Independent School District spokesman Anthony Kirchner says about 60 to 70 students were on the buses Monday afternoon.

He said 10 to 15 students were taken to the hospital for the treatment of minor injuries including stitches and whiplash symptoms.

Kirchner said officials were still working to get details on how the accident happened. The two buses were the only vehicles involved.
