New CEO of The Ladder Alliance

The Ladder Alliance Board of Directors has announced the hiring of Bliss Coulter as the new CEO of The Ladder Alliance.

“I am honored to have been chosen to lead such a regarded and respected organization. The Ladder Alliance has a strong foundation and I am committed to driving the agency forward to the next level.” Coulter said in a news release.

Coulter is a Nationally Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor (NCC/LPC). She received her master’s in clinical counseling from Texas Woman’s University in Denton and her bachelor’s in m marketing, advertising and sociology from the University of North Texas in Denton.

Coulters selection as the new CEO came following a comprehensive and exhaustive search of more than 300 applicants including multiple candidate interviews.

“Ms. Coulter has a passion and extensive experience for serving the community in various roles, from mentoring youth and other emerging leaders, to engaging key stakeholders at all levels, to creating avenues for systems change.” said Board President M. Chad Kerr.

Coulter previously served as the Director of Operations and Programs at The Parenting Center, a child abuse prevention agency. During her tenure there, she created programming that ultimately increased the annual budget by $1 million, which in turn helped to serve hundreds of families in and around Tarrant County.

Coulter was born and raised in North Texas. She has spent her career helping others in various capacities in the non-profit and for-profit sectors, by serving on a number of nonprofit committees, boards and many community initiatives.
