Fort Worth-based LB Productions, a digital advertising agency, has hired Holly Aldriedge as creative director and Julie Nguyen as director of account service. Aldriedge has over five years of experience in art direction and graphic design at advertising agencies. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in visual communications. Nguyen has over four years’ experience in cabinet and executive leadership and attended the University of Texas at Austin. “Holly brings great attention to detail and a self-starter attitude,” said Lauren Bogle, agency principal. ““Julie has the innate ability to design and organize a plan and execute on it fearlessly and efficiently,”

GCG Marketing has promoted Marcie Heffley to account supervisor and Taylor Travis to senior account executive.

Zach Stryker has joined Balcom Agency as media coordinator.

HONORS & AWARDS

Cooksey Communications recently received three Platinum and three Gold honors in the 2018 MarCom Awards, an international creative competition, in recognition of the agency’s client work over the past year. The Platinum awards were for the firm’s work with Balmoral, Frisco Station and the Richardson Economic Development Partnership. The Gold awards were for the United Way of Tarrant County, Skanska and EltaMD.

LAW

Decker Jones PC’s Eric Camp, an oil and gas law specialist, has been selected for the inaugural Leadership Class of the Institute for Energy Law. Camp is one of 35 attorneys from across the United States, and the only one from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, chosen for this honor.

Camp is board-certified in oil, gas and mineral law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Camp represents operators, mineral owners, surface owners and municipalities in oil and gas transactions, litigation, regulatory matters and title examinations.

The IEL, a division of The Center for American and International Law, is a membership organization and counts many of the leading energy companies and attorneys among its international membership. A flagship legal institution in the energy industry, the IEL provides educational and professional opportunities for lawyers and professionals through educational courses, conferences, scholarly publications and membership activities.

NONPROFIT

Tracy Southers-Parker, president of WordPlay Public Relations & Marketing Communications, has been appointed to the board of directors for two area nonprofit organizations: Grapevine-Colleyville Education Foundation and Metroport Meals on Wheels. She will serve an initial three-year term for both organizations, contributing to their fundraising and marketing.

The Grapevine-Colleyville Education Foundation supports programs and opportunities that benefit the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District students and staff. The foundation raises funds to facilitate student achievement and skill development, recognize and encourage staff excellence, and expand community involvement from individuals, businesses and civic organizations.

Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth Inc. has promoted Cyndi Gomez to director of information systems. She will oversee Goodwill Fort Worth’s network and associated computer system and manage all department employees. Gomez has worked at Goodwill Fort Worth since October 2012, when she joined the nonprofit as database and applications specialist.
