Local public relations professional Lauren Kwedar Cockerell has launched her own public relations firm, Kwedar PR LLC. The Fort Worth-based company serves small- to medium-sized businesses and nonprofits.
Cockerell was the director of public relations for Consuro Managed Technology for over four years. She started her career with Paige Hendricks Public Relations Inc., working her way from intern to vice president in 10 years with the firm. Since she started Kwedar PR, the firm has been hired by organizations in a variety of industries such as restaurants/fine dining, fine art, consulting, oil and gas, nonprofit, architecture and finance.
A Fort Worth native, Cockerell is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with emphases in marketing, finance and English literature.
