ACCOUNTING
Hayden Grahm, has been promoted to partner, and Jolynn Wanzor and Patty Perez Vavrin to principals at JTaylor, an advisory, tax and assurance firm headquartered in Fort Worth. All three are certified public accountants.
Grahm joined JTaylor in 2017 as a senior manager in the Tax Services division. He has more than nine years of public accounting experience in a variety of industries, particularly in entertainment, health care, oil and gas and real estate.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Dallas and continued his accounting education at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Grahm is a board member with WholeLife Authentic Care and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Fort Worth Chapter.
Vavrin joined JTaylor in 2008. Since 2000 her practice has been focused in the areas of corporate, partnership, nonprofit, estate and gift and individual income tax consultation. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s in taxation at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Wanzor joined JTaylor in 2007 and has more than 12 years of accounting and tax-related experience. Her areas of expertise include working with corporate, partnership, estate and gift and individual clients. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting at Oklahoma State University. She is active with the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Junior League of Fort Worth and the Oklahoma State Alumni Association.
ADVERTISING & MARKETING
GCG Marketing has added Helen Webb – as senior copywriter, Liz Ruglic as senior content marketing strategist and Callie Jo George as digital project coordinator.
Most recently, Webb was copywriter for Youth Villages in Memphis, Tennessee, and previously spent three years with Memphis-based digital agency Archer Malmo.
Ruglic spent the last four years with Warren Douglas Advertising, most recently as manager of public relations and social media.
George joins GCG full time after serving as a digital intern since February and will manage projects for GCG’s digital marketing team.
EDUCATION
Texans Can Academies–Fort Worth Lancaster campus has named Phil Tucker as principal. Tucker was most recently the assistant principal of curriculum and instruction at the same campus. Tucker has been with Texans Can Academies for 13 years.
HOSPITALITY
TGC Hospitality Management of Wichita, Kansas, has announced the leadership team for the TownePlace Suites Fort Worth NW, Lake Worth. The team includes: April Dalton, general manager, Linda Franko, director of sales, and Veronica Sosa, assistant general manager.
OFFICE EQUIPMENT
VARIDESK has added Jeff Lamb as chief operating officer. Lamb has been a leader in corporate America for 37 years, but his first job out of high school was assembling furniture at night for T. Boone Pickens at Mesa Petroleum. He spent 12 years at Mesa, taking a variety of leadership positions. He spent over a decade at Southwest Airlines as executive vice president of corporate services and chief people officer. He also was an executive with Roger Staubach and a senior leader at Belo.
REAL ESTATE
JPI, a developer of multifamily projects based in Irving, has added William “Bill” Jackson as senior vice president and national capital markets partner. He worked previoulsy as senior vice president and managing director at NorthMarq Capital, where he was responsible for commercial loan production in the Dallas office for over 20 years.
TECHNOLOGY
Arlington-based Agora Data Inc., a technology provider for the financial services industry, has added Chris Barry as senior vice president of sales. Barry has held senior leadership positions with GWC Warranty, American Credit Acceptance, JP Morgan Chase and AmeriCredit Financial Services.
