Newsmakers: Sundt adds two to Fort Worth office

Balcom Agency has hired Ryan Amarit as web developer.


Sundt Construction Inc. has added Bob Lacy and Sahil Khandelwal to the company’s Building Group, Texas District’s Fort Worth office. Both will serve on the City of Arlington Southeast Recreation Center project.

Valor Mineral Management LLC has added R. Wesley Moncrief Jr. to its board of advisers. He is a fourth-generation oil and gas executive with experience and expertise in many areas of the oil and gas industry.

The company has also named David Wynne as a business development associate.

Ben E. Keith Foods’ senior vice president of purchasing and logistics since 2011, Andy McCaskill, is retiring on July 15 after 36 years with the company. Mike Needham will succeed him in that position.

Stepping into Needham’s position as general manager of the Gulf Coast Division for Ben E. Keith Foods will be Jerry DuBose, who has been that division’s assistant general manager since 2014.

McCaskill had touched virtually every corner of Ben E. Keith Foods since arriving in the Dallas purchasing department in 1982 after graduating from Texas Tech University. He has been director of grocery, vice president of grocery non-foods and vice president of purchasing.

Six new board members have joined Camp Fire First Texas. They are: Kimberly D’Avignon, Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office; Christie Eckler, Botanical Research Institute of Texas; Gabriel A. Pier 1 Imports Inc. has appointed Lance Wills as executive vice president, chief information officer. Wills has almost 23 years of information technology experience, including more than 10 years at companies in the retail sector where he was responsible for managing omni-channel platforms, supporting business transformations and building digital expertise. Most recently, Wills was executive vice president, global technology officer for Toys ‘R’ Us Inc. from 2016 to 2018.
