CULTURE

Texas Ballet Theater has hired Daniel Tardibono as director of schools to oversee operations in Fort Worth and Richardson locations.

Tardibono is from Oklahoma City, where he is a state-certified educator in dance and a certified teacher through Dance Masters of America. He is a judge for various competitions and a master class instructor for various groups. He was director of Victory Dance in Oklahoma City for 18 years.

EDUCATION

Arlington Independent School District Superintendent Marcelo Cavazos has named Eric White as director of athletics. White had been assistant athletic director for the Mansfield Independent School District since 2012.

Vanessa Bouché, an assistant professor of political science at Texas Christian University, received the 2018 Maura Women Helping Women and Young Leader Award from the Dallas Women’s Foundation. Bouché has been a principal investigator on several federally funded human trafficking projects from the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Agency for International Development. The Young Leader Award was presented by Capital One.

ENGINEERING

Charles Gaddy has joined Freese and Nichols Inc. as a senior environmental project manager in Fort Worth. He is an expert in navigating the Texas Risk Reduction Program and solid and hazardous waste management. Most recently, Gaddy played a key role in the environmental assessment and remediation for the Trinity River Vision Authority and is heavily involved in the Lower Bois d’Arc Creek Reservoir mitigation program.

ENTERTAINMENT

Toyota Music Factory has added Tim Hendricks as general manager. He previously was operations manager at The Pavilion at Montage, an outdoor amphitheater in Scranton, Pennsylvania, operated by Live Nation, and general manager of The Fillmore Charlotte, an iconic music venue in North Carolina.

HEALTH CARE

Registered nurse Danella Thompson has received the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. She is the first recipient of the award at Medical City Fort Worth, which recently became part of the DAISY Foundation’s program to recognize the profound difference that nurses make in the lives of their patients and patients’ families. The nonprofit DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes, who died from complications of an auto-immune disease.

Camp Fire First Texas has added 10 new board members with terms beginning in 2018. TECHNOLOGY

TTI says it will establish a focused Mil-Aero business segment and has hired Roger Raley as vice president, Mil-Aero for TTI.

Raley has 20 years of domestic and international experience in the distribution industry. Most recently he was with Arrow/AE Petsche as director, global sales, supplier marketing and asset management.
