Things are getting bad when you can’t even successfully implement your own flawed ideas, and the question now is why should businesses and corporations get relief while individuals are forced to comply with the President’s health care mandate?

– Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal after the administration delays implementation of small business portion of the Affordable Care Act.

This would not happen at Gettysburg. No one would even imagine holding such an event at the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor. It should be treated as the hallowed ground that it is.

– Texas Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson, who is less than happy with the attention the Alamo is getting being used as a backdrop to promote a super-welterweight title fight in Las Vegas.
