Overheard – May 20, 2013

The thoughts of 26 million Texans are with those suffering today, along with our prayers for a quick and full recovery for those still hospitalized, and for this community as a whole. – Gov. Rick Perry in a statement on the May 15 storms in North Texas that resulted in at least six deaths. If it doesn’t work, in three months, it can be re-evaluated. It can be restriped.

– Mayor Betsy Price, on plans to put a section of Forest Park Boulevard on a ‘road diet.’
