Beth Pulliam, M.Ed., will join the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce May 21 as vice president of Investor Relations, a new staff role created as part of the Chamber’s strategic plan, Fortify.
Pulliam comes to the Chamber from TCU’s Neeley School of Business Graduate Career Service Center, where she was associate director of Employer Relations since 2015 and cultivated relationships with executives at regional, national and international organizations.
“Beth is passionate about Fort Worth and about providing exceptional customer service and experiences for our investors,” said Marilyn Gilbert, executive vice president of Marketing for the Chamber. “Whether it’s a large or small investor, she will make sure that value is being created for each individual and company. She will also ensure that the issues and concerns of our investors will be addressed through our Fortify strategic plan.”
Pulliam graduated with a BA in Philosophy from UTA, and a Master of Education in Student Development and Leadership from Angelo State University. She has over eight years of experience in the higher education industry spanning both divisions of academic and student affairs, previously serving student populations at Texas Wesleyan University and Tarleton State University.
“Serving on the board of Steer Fort Worth gave me insight into a number of challenges that Fort Worth faces in this new era of growth,” said Pulliam. “I paid very close attention when the City was developing its Strategic Plan, and when the Chamber published Fortify I was thrilled to see that they were up to task of facing these challenges.
“If you ask any of my colleagues or close friends, they will share that I have a high drive for success, am always thinking about how to solve a problem, and have a deep love for Fort Worth. There is no better place for me to put those characteristics to use than the Chamber.”
