Registrations are being accepted for the third annual Race on Race Street. Hosted by PT Fitness and sponsored by Rebuild Texas Roof and Window, the event will be held Oct. 12 at the PT Fitness Studio, 2911 Race Street, Fort Worth.
Activities on tap include a 1 Mile Fun along with 5K, 10K and half-marathon (13.1 miles) races. The event serves as a platform to raise awareness and funds for several local charities, including Alliance For Children, PanCAN, Cook Children’s, and Hope Farm, PT Fitness said in a news release.
The 2023 Race on Race Street surpassed participation numbers from the inaugural event and attracted runners from as far away as Boston and Austria, the release said.
Starting on Race Street, the course takes runners onto the scenic Trinity Trails at Belknap and southeast across the picturesque low river crossing toward Top Golf, showcasing both the natural beauty and urban charm of Fort Worth.
