SBA administrator to speak at Arlington event

In celebration of National Small Business Week, the U.S. Small Business Administration will host several events next week around the nation, including one in Arlington that will feature SBA Administrator Karen Mills. AARP President Robert Romasco will provide business startup advice for “encore entrepreneurs,” those over the age of 50. Participants also will hear from Mayor Robert Cluck and Wes Jurey, president and CEO of Arlington Chamber of Commerce. Other sessions will discuss entrepreneur funding and global marketing and sales. On Tuesday, June 18, at the Arlington Convention Center, the SBA will hold be sessions focused on the Dallas/Fort Worth entrepreneurship ecosystem, exporting, access to capital, and health care among other topics.
