Sid Richardson Museum Summer Movie Series

Sid Richardson Museum’s summer movie series will continue June 16 at 6:30pm with a showing of the 1963 movie Hud. The museum is offering the showing for free, but registration is required to attend the event. The movie will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

According to the Sid Richardson Museum’s website, Friday’s movie is only one showing of the summer movie series that will continue on June 21 with the 1995 movie Dead Man and finish August 18 with a showing of the 2010 movie True Grit.

According to the website, the movie series looks at the modern opinion on the style and ideals of the western tradition, particularly on the importance of realism versus romanticism.
