Solera Holdings Inc. of Westlake has completed its acquisition of sachcontrol AG, a property claims management provider based in Germany.
Solera, which provides software and service to the automobile insurance claims processing and decision support industries, previously announced it had signed an agreement to acquire sachcontrol.
Sachcontrol specializes in reducing customer costs by comparing property repair invoices against its proprietary database of standardized market prices for materials, labor and repair processes.
Tony Aquila, Solera’s founder, chairman and CEO, has described the acquisition as important in extending the company’s footprint in Germany and Austria.
