Stage West putting on M.A.D.E. in the Near Southside event

Fort Worth’s Stage West is putting on M.A.D.E. in the Near Southside June 10, which will highlight musicians, artists, beverages, and food.

Stage West is putting on the event with the help of an economic development grant from the Texax Commission on the Arts. Stage West co-producer Dana Schultes and Nick Kirk of Art-Hunger Fort Worth are collaborating on the event.

Daniel Stone, stand-up bass, and Joey Carter, grand piano, will perform 1920s and 1930s music.

Kirk and artists John Worley and Will “Magic Rhyno” Hall will do live painting. The three will show works for sale at the event.

Rahr Brewery will serve beer, and Stage West’s Ol’ Vie Cafe will sell beverages. Ol’ Vie’s event menu will include Copper Creek Salad, Homestyle Meatloaf, and Moroccan Chicken.

The event is 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door, $5 for Stage West subscribers.
