Additional Details: Join us for our fall performance as we feature Australian violinist Emily Sun performing Barber’s Violin Concerto. Emily shot to fame after featuring in Bob Connolly’s observational documentary Mrs. Carey’s Concert, which premiered at the opening night of the 2011 Big Pond Adelaide Film Festival to outstanding reviews. The film is the second highest grossing documentary in Australian cinema history. In addition to Ms. Sun’s performance, the orchestra will also perform Rossini’s Overture to The Italian Girl in Algiers and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 in A Major (“Italian”). It’s a performance you won’t want to miss!!
