Prior to joining Tailwind, Shawn spent over 32 years at KPMG, as the National Managing Partner of Private Equity, splitting time between KPMG’s New York and Fort Worth offices. After retiring from KPMG in 2011, Shawn served as the Chief Financial Officer of Oak Hill Capital Partners before retiring in December 2015. Most recently, Shawn served as a strategic advisor at Blue River Partners, LLC, a premier service provider to the alternative asset industry. Shawn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Midwestern State University, where he currently serves on the Board of Regents and is past Chairman. “Shawn has been a good friend and advisor to Tailwind for many years, and we are delighted to welcome him as a full member of the team.
