Dallas Fort Worth CureSearch invites you and your friends and family to take part in their Superheroes Unite event to honor children battling cancer.
“You can help fund lifesaving children’s cancer research and make young cancer fighters feel like superheroes,” the website reads. “You can make these children feel powerful and invincible.”
Register for the DFW CureSearch Superheroes Unite event online at www.curesearchsuperheroes.org/dfw for $10 per person above the age of 15, anyone younger is free. The event will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, at the University of Texas at Arlington Maverick Activity Center, located at 500 W. Nedderman in Arlington. On-site registration will begin at 9 a.m. and parking is free.
This event is targeted at children, families, friends, neighbors, survivors, medical professionals and anyone interested in helping children facing cancer.
