TechFW launches top-rated ThinkLab On Demand

TechFW, a leading technology incubator and innovation hub in North Texas, announced the launch of ThinkLab OnDemand, an online platform to help entrepreneurs that was developed with support from Texas Woman’s University – Center of Women Entrepreneurs (TWU-CWE). The online platform expands access to TechFW’s proven startup framework, allowing aspiring entrepreneurs across the U.S. to validate their ideas and begin building the foundation for their business.

ThinkLab OnDemand provides entrepreneurs a flexible, self-paced pathway to develop the core building blocks needed to launch a successful venture. The program delivers the foundational content from TechFW’s in-person ThinkLab program through a structured series of digital modules. It is designed to educate entrepreneurs in early-stage idea development, helping them determine whether to move forward, pivot, or refine their concept before seeking investments or entering an accelerator.

Participants move through a sequence of eight guided modules that include concept validation, customer discovery, market evaluation, and early business strategy. By completing the program, entrepreneurs gain a clear understanding of the viability of their idea and the next steps required to move toward launch or growth.

“ThinkLab has helped hundreds of founders clarify their ideas and build strong business foundations,” said Caitlin McMinn, Executive Director of TechFW. “With ThinkLab OnDemand, we’re offering a low-cost, proven program that allows entrepreneurs everywhere to assess the value proposition of turning their dream into reality. Thanks to our partnership with Texas Woman’s University, these tools are available to innovators who are ready to explore and validate their ideas.”

“My biggest takeaway from the course was the viability of my product,” said Gerry Schwarz of REV Animal Hydration. “My product started as a hydration pod for animals, but has morphed into more than that with pods for providing liquid vitamins to animals, a much larger market.”

Program Creator and Facilitator

In various forms, ThinkLab has been assisting Dallas-Fort Worth startups for 21 years. ThinkLab OnDemand was developed by entrepreneur, mentor, and startup strategist Logan Speights, who serves as the Fort Worth program’s creator and lead facilitator. Speights has spent more than two decades helping founders and leadership teams clarify strategy, test business ideas, and build scalable companies. His structured, practical approach to early-stage business development forms the foundation of the ThinkLab methodology.

“My goal with ThinkLab has always been to give entrepreneurs a clear, practical process for turning ideas into something worth building,” Speights said. “ThinkLab OnDemand expands that mission by making proven startup education more accessible to founders who need flexibility, guidance, and a strong foundation.”

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment between TechFW and Texas Woman’s University to strengthen the regional innovation ecosystem and provide accessible pathways for entrepreneurship education nationally.

“Entrepreneurship thrives when education and innovation communities work together,” McMinn said. “This partnership allows us to reach more founders, empower more ideas, and support the next generation of entrepreneurs.”
