TechFW, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering innovation and empowering technology entrepreneurs, has promoted Caitlin McMinn to Executive Director. McMinn, who joined the organization in April as Managing Director, will lead TechFW’s strategic initiatives and programming as the organization continues to drive economic prosperity and lasting societal change in North Texas.
Since its founding in 1998, TechFW has been a dynamic force in the entrepreneurial community, providing comprehensive support and resources to help technology-based startups scale into multimillion-dollar companies. Under McMinn’s leadership, the organization is positioned to expand its impact across the regional innovation ecosystem.
“In a very short time, Caitlin has shown an ability to efficiently organize and plan programming, gain partnerships and lead a team that will move our efforts forward,” said Melissa Acosta, TechFW’s Board Chair. “We are excited for our refreshed program announcements in the near future.”
McMinn brings a unique combination of strategic vision and operational excellence to the role. After a successful career in the finance sector, she launched a consulting business in 2020, specializing in sales enablement, revamping HR systems and business operations. Her diverse experience spans multiple business functions, providing her with the comprehensive perspective needed to support entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.
“Helping businesses go from idea to sustainable success is what motivates me,” McMinn said. “The joy of my career has been working across so many areas of business. That 360° view helps me know what teams need and how to bring it all together at the right time.”
During her tenure with TechFW, McMinn has demonstrated exceptional leadership as a strategist, operations expert and community builder. Her ability to see the bigger picture while executing on operational details has positioned her as an ideal leader for the organization’s next phase of growth.
