Texas Workforce Commission to host business conference in Fort Worth

The Texas Workforce Commission will host a Texas Business Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24 at the Fort Worth Convention Center Ballroom located at 1201 Houston St.

The conference provides employers an opportunity to learn how to operate a business and discover techniques to more effectively manage employees. Hope Andrade, TWC commissioner representing employers, and her staff will present practical, up-to-date information on employment law, federal and Texas wage and hour law, and the unemployment claim and appeal process. Registration is from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Walk-in registrations will be accepted. Media credentials are available on a limited basis.
