The Trinity Shakespeare Festival has just kicked off its 2017 season with Measure For Measure and Richard III showing from June 13 to July 2. According to Trinity Shakespeare Festival’s website, both performances take place at the Jerita Foley Bushman Theatre and the Marline and Spencer Hays Theatre in Ed Landreth Hall at Texas Christian University.

Measure For Measure is one of Shakespeare’s comedies and will be directed by T.J. Walsh who directed The Winter’s Tale last season. According to the website, Richard III will be directed by Stephen Brown-Fried who directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Richard III is a story about corruption and power.

Both shows run on opposing nights. Richard III will have performances on Friday and Sunday and Measure For Measure will have performances on Thursday and Saturday.
