Two managers have joined The Shops at Clearfork team, Simon announced Tuesday.
Suzanne Paul has been named general manager and Monica Esparza has been named director of marketing and business development.
“We are thrilled to have Monica and Suzanne on the inaugural management team for The Shops at Clearfork,” said Audrie Thompson, regional vice president for Simon. “We are confident their combined expertise will bring dynamic and synergistic leadership to the highly-anticipated center.”
Retail developer Simon is partnering with Cassco Development Co., on The Shops at Clearfork, a luxury retail destination in southwest Fort Worth. Cassco is developing the 270-acre Clearfork mixed-use development where The Shops at Clearfork is located.
Paul has more than 20 years of retail marketing and management experience. She began working with Simon in 2005 and has served in management positions at multiple properties including Firewheel Town Center in Garland and most recently as the area mall manager for North East Mall in Hurst. As The Shops at Clearfork general manager, Paul will oversee all day-to-day operations, asset management, retailer and community relations. Additionally, she will be responsible for overseeing the security and marketing efforts of the center.
Esparza relocated from Lakeline Mall in Austin, where she most recently served as director of marketing and business development. Prior to this, she held various positions at properties in Houston, McAllen and San Antonio. In her new role, Esparaza will develop the overall strategic marketing direction of The Shops at Clearfork. She will be responsible for marketing initiatives and programs, business development and sponsorships, as well as community, retailer and public relations.
