Job seekers, take note: Walmart has about 300 openings for its Haslet store set to open this fall at 2401 Avondale-Haslet Road. Applications are being accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays at a temporary hiring center at 1401 N. Saginaw Blvd. in Saginaw. Prospective applicants also may visit http://careers.walmart.com. “We are excited to add Walmart to this region of Fort Worth and bring good jobs with great career opportunities to the area,” said store manager Boyd Green in a news release. In addition to hiring both full- and part-time associates, the company is offering jobs to any qualified military veteran who has been honorably discharged within the past 12 months. Veterans must be within 12 months of active duty and meet Walmart’s standard hiring criteria. Interested veterans may learn more at http://walmartcareerswithamission.com.
