Etudes, the Concert, Allegro Brillante – Texas Ballet Theatre

Études is a tribute to dancing. The ballet follows the dancers from the basic five positions to the most difficult steps, from the daily hard work in the rehearsal studio to the most brilliant and elegant stage performance, showing the different sides of the art of ballet, from pure, poetic allusion to the romantic ballet to sheer bravoura. The ballet builds up like a crescendo ending with a firework finale that combines dance, spirit and style: a challenge to a whole Company.
