8th Annual Vitro Moda

Vitro Moda is Sin Ca Na Studios way of uniting the exciting creation of glass (Vitro) and fashion (Moda) into a very unique fundraiser. Each year, they transform a venue into a New York runway. Couture models walk the catwalk with the best of glass art created by glass artisans from all over the United States. The event includes great food, wine, and a silent auction of nothing but glass.

Cliburn Festival – An American Influence

The Festival will comprise five concerts held February 18–21, 2016 at five different venues and will feature performances by all American performers: pianists Ralph Votapek (1962 Cliburn gold medalist), Spencer Myer (2009 Cliburn competitor), and Henry Kramer; soprano Ava Pine; baritone Jonathan Beyer; and the Attacca Quartet.

Arlo Guthrie: Alice’s Restaurant 50th Anniversary Tour

The Alice’s Restaurant 50th Anniversary Tour brings together an ensemble of fine musicians never to grace the stage together at one time. Arlo’s deft band includes Terry Hall (drums), Bobby Sweet (guitar, vocals), Darren Todd (guitar), and his son, Abe Guthrie (keyboards).Each show is also curated with a special multi-media presentation featuring previously unseen images from the Guthrie archives.

Etudes, the Concert, Allegro Brillante – Texas Ballet Theatre

Études is a tribute to dancing. The ballet follows the dancers from the basic five positions to the most difficult steps, from the daily hard work in the rehearsal studio to the most brilliant and elegant stage performance, showing the different sides of the art of ballet, from pure, poetic allusion to the romantic ballet to sheer bravoura. The ballet builds up like a crescendo ending with a firework finale that combines dance, spirit and style: a challenge to a whole Company.

American Epics – Amon Carter Museum
