On Friday, Nov. 17, from 6-9 p.m. there will be a seated tasting of sparkling wines, with pairings, at Grand Cru Wine Bar & Boutique, located at 1257 W. Magnolia Ave. in Fort Worth. There will be two seatings, each will last just over one hour, at 6 and 8 p.m. The tastings will be led by Christian Cox with Serendipity Imports and cost $45 per person, before gratuity.
The wines and pairings are as follows:
— Bisson, Bianco Delle Venezie Frizzante (2016) Veneto, Italy with Calamari, Shrimp, and Arugula Salad
— Nicolas Maillart, 1er Cru Brut Platine (NV) Champagne, France with Deviled Eggs on Buttered Brioche Toast
— Philippe Foreau, Domaine du Clos Naudin Vouvray Brut Cuvée (2011), Loire Valley, France with Caviar & Creme Fraiche Tartlets
— Graham Beck, Brut Rosé (2011) Western Cape, South Africa with Smoked Salmon BLT
— Cava Recaredo, Brut Nature Intens Rosat Gran Reserva (2012), Catalonia, Spain with Spanish Charcuterie & Cheese Board
