Additional Details: The Wood Products Council’s WoodWorks program is hosting a seminar in Plano, Texas focused on building taller and bigger multi-story wood buildings. The seminar offers a detailed analysis of Type III and V building types and how they are utilized to create structures with five-plus stories of wood-frame construction under the International Building Code. Provided by an expert in wood design and engineering, it will cover height and area provisions in depth, including podiums and mezzanines. This seminar is intended for engineers, architects, builders and others with an interest in the design and construction of non-residential and multi-family wood buildings. $20 per attendee.
